The final of the second BFA Global Health Forum youth health speech contest was held in Qingdao Shandong Province in June 3rd. Nasra Mohamoud Ali, a Somali doctoral student of our university, was among the top 8 and won the prize.
Nasra Mohamoud Ali is a doctoral student majoring in oncology in our university. Under the careful guidance of Ran Ren and other teachers, she went through the preliminary competition and the second round competition. She stood out among many Chinese and foreign players and entered the final with outstanding performance. In the final, she won the recognition and praise of the organizers and the audience for her outstanding performance. She fully displayed the elegant demeanor of an overseas student and delivered the voice of the young doctor to the world.
This speech contest covers more than 100 universities, hospitals and other related enterprises and institutions in China. The chairman of the final jury is Dr. Margaret Chan, chairman of the Boao Forum on global health for Asia. Other members come from state organs, international organizations, well-known media and top universities at home and abroad. The competition was recorded and broadcast by the global media.
