1 Teaching Levels

For students having not learned any Chinese

2 Teaching Objectives

  • For students of elementary level, after they conclude one semester’s study, they are supposed to have a vocabulary of 600 words and complete the basic grammar study at the elementary phase.

  • For students of elementary level, after they conclude the second semester’s study, they are supposed to have a vocabulary of 800 words and continue the basic grammar study at the elementary phase.

  • For students of elementary level, after they conclude the third semester’s study, they are supposed to have a vocabulary of 1000 words and complete the grammar study at the elementary phase. The students are expected to have the language ability to pass HSK III.

3 Training Hours

There are two terms in one school-year, each of them will last for 15 weeks, there are 10-12 teaching hours of lectures per week in the first term, 6-8 teaching hours of lectures per week in the second and third term.
