In order to implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping replied the students, IEC students actively participated in the 2023 "Experience China –Explore Dalian • Rural Revitalization". On June 19th, 10 students from 6 countries joined the event. The event location was Chaan Village, Hongqi Street, Ganjingzi District, Dalian. Students experienced the development of Chaan Village in various aspects such as education, economy, and ecological environment.

On the morning of June 19, the students first participated in the opening ceremony at the Civilization Practice Institute of Hongqi Street. The leaders came to the scene to briefly introduce Hongqi Street. Students have a basic understanding of the upcoming process. Immediately afterwards, all students visited the Chaan kindergarten and the Chaan Party and Mass Service Square.

After the visit in the morning, international students gathered together to conduct a special discussion of the "Simulation United Nations -World Agricultural Development Conference". Representatives from six universities introduced the agricultural development of their motherland. 2017 MBBS student Shayur from DMU introduced the agricultural development of his motherland, South Africa. With clear logic, he started from geographical location and climatic characteristics of South Africa, extended to the main characteristic agricultural crops in South Africa and finally ended with South Africa's optimization and breakthrough in agricultural production in recent years.

In the afternoon, the students visited Senle Valley, Lingyuan Villa and the Tangli Lake Park. The pleasant atmosphere, the beautiful natural environment and the advanced tourism industry deeply attracted students. Everyone poured in and took pictures to record the beautiful scenery here.

After the event, students learned a lot. Lin Yabo, an international student from 2019 Chinese medium, said: "Green, a fashionable word, which I only learned on books or TV before. This time, I really understand the meaning of the green environment and feel the charm of green water and green mountains." Students really improved the understanding of Dalian's culture, economy, and environment.
