The 2022 Graduation Ceremony and Degree Awarding Ceremony of the International Education College was Successfully Held

On February 15, 2023, the graduation ceremony and degree awarding ceremony of the 2022 winter graduation student was held online. Vice President Shao Shujuan, Dean of International Education College Lu Wei, teacher representative Zhang Jun, all teachers from International College, total 34 international students from 16 different countries and their families attended this graduation ceremony.

Before the graduation ceremony, photos of graduates have been broadcast online. The photos show the scenes of studying in the library, hard work in the lab, busy internship in the hospital, joyful gathering in the dormitory ... These beautiful moments will become precious memories of students in their lives. After the opening, Lu Wei, dean of the International Education College, read the decision on awarding the graduation certificate of Dalian Medical University for 2022 winter postgraduate and undergraduate students and the decision on awarding doctor, master and bachelor degrees to Dalian Medical University international graduates in 2022 winter. The issuance of certificates was held online.

Stacy, student from 2017 Spring MBBS, spoke on behalf of all graduates. Stacy reviewed the good times in the past six years. Although there was a severe epidemic situation, they overcame all kinds of difficulties and graduated successfully. Besides, She expressed her sincere thanks to the teachers of her alma mater. Although they are about to leave DMU and leave China, they will always remember what they have obtained in this land, inherit the spirit of DMU, and strive for becoming an excellent doctor.

Next, Zhang Jun spoke on behalf of all teachers. Ms.Zhang firstly congratulated the students' successful graduation. At the same time, she encouraged them to “keep your eyes on the stars and feet on the ground”, to work hard and move forward. Medicine is different from other majors. She hopes that graduates can follow the shared objective “Life first” and make more contributions in the future.

At the end of the ceremony, Vice President Shao Shujuan gave an affectionate speech. She extended her warm congratulations to the graduation students who worked hard and overcame lots of difficulties in the past few years. All teachers are proud of the graduates. Before the graduates start their new journeys, President Shao set three expectations to them:
