Recently, the research practice of "Perception of China: Biological Plasticizing Technology and Cultural Exchange in Medical Vision" hosted by China Scholarship Council and DMU was held in Dalian Hongfeng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and Dalian Jinshitan Life Mystery Museum. More than 40 international students from DMU participated in the event.

On April 13, the students came to Dalian Hongfeng Biotechnology Company, the world's largest plasticized specimen manufacturing plant and national high-tech enterprise. At the launching ceremony, the general manager of the company warmly welcomed the teachers and students of DMU, and briefly introduced the company's development, the production principle of plasticized specimens, and the route arrangement of this event.

Under the guidance of the staff, students visited the marine animal exhibition hall, land vertebrate exhibition hall and life and health exhibition hall. Following the introduction of the lecturer, the students observed the internal structure and organs of various creatures such as whale dolphins, pangolins, giraffes, and giraffes. Through close observation of human structure, students have a more intuitive understanding of human anatomy, laying a solid foundation for the further medical study.

In the micro -shrinking factory and dehydration workshop, the students watched the process of making plasticized specimens on the spot at close range, understood the dehydration and abandonment process of specimens, and deeply convinced the level of intellectual manufacturing and the spirit of the great country.

Next, international students came to the factory warehouse to observe large animal specimens. There are hundreds of large animal specimens such as giraffes, rhinos, whales, turtles, and turtles. Students actively inquired the interpreters and staff.

On April 19, international students came to the National Science Popularization Education Base, located in the Mystery Museum of Life in Jinshitan, and continued to explore the mystery of life.

In the museum, the students visited the three exhibition areas: the ocean, the kingdom of the spine, and the human body. Each exhibition area is like a story box of life, telling the origin, evolution and miracle of life. The students were immersed in feeling the shock that different creatures brought to them, witnessing the creativity of life, the diversity of biology, and the precision of the human body. In addition, the life interactive display screen in the museum enables international students to cross the boundaries of time and space and experience the wonderful journey of life evolution.

The two-day research practice activity came to an end. Through this "Perception of China" research practice, international students can gain comprehensive and in-depth understanding of China's outstanding achievements in the field of biological plasticization technology, and feel the aggressive spirit and unremitting pursuit of Chinese science and technology workers. At the same time, they are also in awe of the life force displayed by biological specimens, which inspire them to continue to explore and innovate on the path of medicine.
